Extended Warranty

Just wanted to update this thread with my experience. PM'd [MENTION=108754]gamester5[/MENTION] for contact info and contacted his source last week. Purchasing the warranty was as painless as possible and I got all paperwork yesterday in the mail. Can't recommend this route enough! Saved me a large amount of money.

Seamless process and saved a lot of $$$ on extended warranty.

I traded in my Runner about a 1 1/2 years ago :-(, I do miss her but I wanted just a bit more power for towing. I have a Tundra now, Smoked Mesquite, how they came up with that name I have no idea, it looks like a root beer brown.

I am very happy to hear of members saving tons of money and that really is my goal of helping out users.

Another Toyota forum blocked me from helping their members for some crazy reason. (I also have a Highlander and frequented that forum often.)

Even after I told them I gain nothing from passing on this info they wanted me to become an advertiser ?????? It was all very strange

Pretty sure I over paid ( through financing ) for the 8 year based off some of the prices you mentioned. Can you pm me info so I can cancel it and get it for better price. Thanks.

Thanks for the help, got mine done late last week and got the paperwork deom the dealership, just waiting for the offcial Toyota packet/certificate.

Am glad Toyota/Lexus still lets dealerships do this, BMW stopped this and you can only get the extended from dealers in your home state.

Not sure they can get away with that, it's like saying you can only buy your vehicle in the state you live....
 
I was 100% convinced I am not buying a warranty which is why i went with 4runner. Dealer also has lifetime powertrain. But damn it this forum sucked me in AND then these prices are hard to resist. May need to get the 10/125k after all. Its almost a no brainer since I will be keeping this car for 10+ years
