Hey [MENTION=108754]gamester5[/MENTION] I bought a new Nightshade 4x4 yesterday. Got talked into a $0 deductible 10y/100,000mi Platinum VSA. In searching online, seems like my pricing which was "cost" was rather uncompetitive. Thinking I overpaid by more than $50 so cancelling my initial VSA and buying a new one might be worthwhile.

Would be interested in 10y/100,000 and 10/125,000 quotes. I'm in MA if that matters.

As long as you didn’t pay a market adjustment and got out for “only” MSRP then warranty cost is inconsequential. You’re still getting out cheaper than people who paid $5-10k dealer markup on a 4Runner.

I had reserved an incoming truck back in March and locked in a 6% discount off MSRP (which they admitted they would never agree to now). They made up for it by offering me $1000-1500 less than KBB for my trade, overcharging me by $1000 on my warranty :ohwell: , and refusing to negotiate my APR to try and match my credit union (and claiming I could only bring the truck home that night--an hour drive from home--if I used their financing. So I don't feel bad about the biz manager losing his spiff for overcharging me on the Platinum VSA.

Looking for a quote for a 2021 4Runner - Venture, 6k miles already, purchased today, but original warranty started 12/2020.

Probably a 7y or 8y with upwards of 100k or 125k. Are there different deductible options?

Guys. OP is every Toyota financial department's worst nightmare...consistently delivers with quality warranties whose prices are reasonable and accurate for the warranties being offered. Can't tell you how many times I've saved people from getting ripped off from their dealers when I had them reach out to OP! Few of them (including myself) got a refund and got a new warranty through OP's connection because they do not try rip you off.

Not a paid sponsored message ; this guy saved my ass and I'm glad to see this thread going strong in 2021

Thanks very much for the props. I get nothing as well, just the satisfaction the stealership is not getting more money than they already are getting from these packages.

I would rather see our members save hundreds if not thousands and get the EXACT same product.
