Anyone else have any experience with the Exterior LED's and recommendations...
Since Toyota did not include LED taillights on the TE, I added replaced the current halogen bulb (Brake Lights) with aftermarket LED bulb 7443.
The LED has 18 LED's and is 360 degrees, and lights RED.
When ordering, it was recommended to use a RED lighted LED to maximize its potential lighting capabilities using the factory RED lens.
Replaced one bulb, tested, and compared brightness between the LED and the halogen. The LED is not as bright as the halogen.
I called the retailer, explained my findings, asked if the CLEAR LED would be a better option, and was told no, that the RED was the correct LED.
Suggestions?
