Check out the link in my sig. I have been running and SG2 for about a year. I love the thing. I use it as my primary gas gauge. There are some alternatives like the ultragauge that have been reviewed by guys here.

First off, welcome to the site! I will warn you though, being a two wheeler on here is like riding a big wheel while all the other kids have real bikes.
My 2WD sport edition (v6, 4.10 gears) gets 19-20 mpg, and 300-320 miles per tank, as long as I don't drive like a mad man (ran it out of gas at 322 on my way up to Mammoth). I would like to believe that the intake and exhaust upgrades I've done helps these stats a little, but I agree, your 14mpg definitely needs some help! Check out what I've done with my big wheel.
I got the clear lights, changed all my interior and exterior lights (excepts blinkers) to LED's, plasti dipped the badges, rear spoiler and rear bumper cap.

not trying to be condesceding if you already know this, but to get your milage. Next time you fill up, reset your odometer/tripometer(note your milage however you please). Fill up all the way. Now drive around to your hearts content. When you go back to get gas again, divide the milage on your odometer by the # of gallons you put it at the pump. Voila.
Also, I second/third/whatever the notion that you should try to figure out whats going on with your milage. I have a 96 2wd with a lot of miles and I get substantially better then 14, even if im driving like an *******. ( I guess that could also be your problem

There's an egg between my foot and the gas pedal haha. Yeah, I'm at 179k so it shouldn't be as bad as it is.
I reset the miles when I filled up and that's from full to when the light came on. I don't trust the needle..I'm gonna try and get a SGII ASAP.
Oh, and I love the look of your 4runner! Those black badges are just sweet. Lots of great suggestions. Much appreciated!

Dude, whatever. Big wheels are AWESOME!
Dude!! Remember the one that came later which had the E-Brake option and buy was that fun!! I think it was like late 70s early 80s

Well, I wasn't around in the 70's, but I sure don't remember any of my big wheels having anything resembling a brake. Almost seems like a travesty...
