Extra Cables?

I was swapping out my radio in my 05 4Runner today and noticed two exta cables with plugs under the gear shift cover. I know one goes to the cigarette lighter if I had it, but what does the other one go to? I would assume the extra 2 wire connection goes to the cig lighter, and then the 6 wire one would go where?

Also I noticed a spare connector under the radio. One plug, I believe it is the second one from the right, comes out of the radio and goes to a connector. At the same connector another group of 6 or more wires comes in from a connector not used. Anyone have any idea about this? Maybe it is for a JBL system?

i have the same i believe the plugs from the radio are for xm or something like that. i use mine for the ipod. the ones under the gear shift may be for optional acess? such as heated seats or the downhill assist? i have 3 cables in mine one is for cig one for the downhill assist not sure what 3rd is for

I know the plug behind the radio is not for XM or Sirius because that wasn't even an option until the '06 Model and mine is an '05. I wonder if it could be for the steering wheel audio control? I will have to take apart my dash again and get a picture of it. I guess it could also be for the JBL system, and maybe runs to the back where the sub/amp mount.

Since my 4runner has down hill installed, I only have the two cable. I guess I forgot to look at the ash tray to see which of those remaining two plugs it uses.

It would be nice if they labeled the extra cables.
