Extras for replacing brake pads/rotors/shoes?

I have 16" wheels which dont fit the 231 tundra brake and I don't want to to pay for new calipers so I am just replacing everything with regular ones and making a list of what I need. Are there any extra springs, clips or tools I should get? I've never done brakes before. And which brands are considered the best for the fronts now?

OEM brake rotors are $50-60 each...

I would also get OEM pads for the best performance

You can use regular grease on the back of the pads/shims to stop the squealing instead of buying special grease

You can use channel locks to compress the pistons

I don't know much about drum brakes though

Have always heard Toyota pads are the best. I have them with Brembo rotors and it has been a good combo.

Grease the pins so they don't seize with silicone paste or this:

Uggggg - how about using the old pad to lay over the piston and a C-clamp to avoid both compressing the piston mis-aligned (clamp in the center) and scarring the top of it? Just saying..... Luck to all. :cowboy:

Is there an OEM spring/washer replacement kit for the drums? I see some on Amazon by Dorman and Wagner, but I like to keep as much stuff Toyota as possible.

Does this replace the "lithium soap base glycol grease" the fsm calls for?

Edit: after a little research I end up buying some CRC Silaramic which I'll use for everything. I asked the dealer parts dept about the lithium soap grease and they said they just use anti-seize.
