I'm considering trading in or selling my 08 4x4 SE 4Runner for a 08 Sequoia 5.7L 4x4 Platinum w/ 33500 miles Dealer is asking $41500. I really need something that will seat more people and still have room for luggage/stuff ect.... I have 3 kids , 2, 11, & 14 , I'm running out of space!!!!

For a data point I bought a 08 Sport with 50K on it last week for 25K from the dealership and it was certified (I wanted the low APR).

Since yours is lifted and slightly modified I think that price would be in the ball park. Mine is stupid clean and comes with newer Hanook AT tires with 10K on them.

Max Trade-in they offered me was $22000, I was not willing to let it go for that. I'm looking into listing it on a few sites to see what kind of private offers I get. If I could sell it to someone on the org I would be willing to leave all mods in place. I would not be removing the lift either way. To much of a PITA just to sell a used lift for $50. I would remove the Spidertrax before giving it to a dealer. I had already swapped the optima battery & All weather mats (I didn't let Toyota take my mats for the recall) to my 04 before going to the dealer yesterday. My tires have 30k miles on them, they probably have 10k left on them.

I'm really torn either way!! I really love my 08 SE, my wife or I get compliments at least once a month from random people in parking lots. It will be hard to let it go, but it would be really nice to have all the space in the Sequoia and all the goodies in the Platinum, while completely overkill, would be nice. We will see. Only time will tell if it is meant to be. :bluejump:

I also have a 7 year 100k mile Transferable Toyota Platinum extended warranty. It has a $100 deductible but covers almost anything.

Ya I have seen that alot on here. When another member KOZ still had his limited, he did put a SE hood on it. It was Salsa Red also. I think it should have at least been an option on the Limiteds :bigok:
