F150 Method wheels on 4Runner?

A local guy is selling a set of method NV's for dirt cheap for a couple months now but they are for an F150 (6x135mm, 0 Offset) not 6x139.7 for the 4Runner. I know there are adapters/spacers out there, but are they any good? Would it be worth it? Sounds sketchy to me.
