fab bumper

wanting to put an off-road front and rear bumper on my runner. was thinking about buying a front and fabing a rear. does anyone know what it would cost to fab a custom front and rear made to have a 9500 or 12000 lb winch? not sure what thickness to use or what it might cost.

It really depends on the bumper and who you have do it. They can range for 500ish to over 2000.

Why do you need a 9.5 or 12k winch? 8000lb is more than enough.

Thorroder- I built my own back bumper and I believe you followed the thread on the front one I had fabbed up. There are lots of schools of thought on thicknesses. Minimum for a winch plate is 3/16 but 1/4 is most common. It also depends on positioning and reinforcement. As far as cost it can be anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand depending on design and the shop. The front bumper I had done is priced right in the average plate bumper pricing. tube style bumpers are usually less expensive.

I was quoted from a friend of mine about 600-700 bucks. He told me to go buy the winch and he would bumper built around it, especially if you don't have a jig or a template. It's best to give him an idea and have him run with it, it will come out better lol

EDIT: I decided I'm going to buy the one Pikeman has.
