My 4th gen's alarm keeps setting itself off. It arms itself and goes off when any door is open/closed or remain opens after 30 secs. The problem first started with the rear driver door and it is now acting up with all doors. I have checked to ensure that the dome light is in the correct position. The toyota techs don't know what the problem is without spending the time and money to look for it.
Is there anyway to remove/disable the system? I might just add an aftermarket system instead.
