Factory Aux input finnicky

My center console aux input likes to disconnect and default to the radio. I'll have to play with the aux cord to get it to switch back over. Its not the aux cord as it does it with multiple different cords I have tried. I've checked the harness behind and everything looks good. I have also tried cleaning out the aux input with a small brush. I'm guessing it's an issue with the module itself. Anyone have a cheap and easy fix ?

would that be a radio issue instead?
I don't think mine will automatically go back to the radio if the aux input is lost. either from turning off the mp3, or unplugging the cable. I believe it stays however I had it set.
if yours is changing, to me that sounds as if the head unit is the issue.

Since you can make it change by wiggling the jack, it suggests either a broken jack or more likely a broken solder joint on the jack.
