Good day everyone! Just wanted to see what yall have your factory entune systems' equalizer settings at. Just trying to get the best sound possible till I change out the speakers. I currently have it at:

Treble: Max
Mid: 1 below Max
Bass: 2 below Max

Just wanna compare my settings to others. Thanks! :yo:

The factory system is not well balanced and i monkey with it way too much trying to find a baseline setting I'm happy with.

Listening to Sirius radio (80% of my usage) the bass is disproportionally high so currently i'm at:

Treble 2 under max
Mid middle
Bass 2 below middle

Agreed, they are terribly balanced and am also toying with it way too much to find a half decent baseline. Gonna have to try all these settings! :thanks:

HD radio tends to accentuate the highs and lows, so I actually find that 0 across the board is a good balance. In the rare instances that HD is out of range, I switch to iHeartRadio or Google Play anyway because being without HD on an HD radio is unbearable. lol

Yeah my previous vehicle had the ELS system by Panasonic and that was such a great system. Left everything at zero and was perfectly balanced. With this system, its so unbalanced at zero (at least when listening to Sirius). It goes get a bit better when listening to my mp3's from my USB stick but still leaves me wanting more. Just too many hollow spots.

Just trying to do what I can without putting in an aftermarket amp. Been there, done that, and I really don't blast music anyways. Just want balanced sound at the end of the day.

2015 TRD Pro, which means I have the Entune premium without JBL.

Treble: +1 from middle
Mid: -1 from middle
Bass: -3 from middle

I think the clarity is terrible. There is far too much droning bass. I am hoping to change front door and dash speakers (Focal IS 690TOY is on my list) to resolve this.

That is an excellent way to describe it. But then you crank down the bass and you lose the almost nonexistent low-mid. I really cant find a sweet medium...:rip:

Exactly. Passengers have described the audio quality as if the speakers are "muffled" or something is "covering up" the sound.

From what others have posted, seems like a simple speaker change has dramatic effect on clarity.

Yeah looks like the way to go. Too bad my $$$ is tied up with other mods :lmao:

I'm inclined to agree.

Over to Crutchfield, I guess...

I agree, change the speakers. The factory ones (not jbl) are pretty flimsy and weak looking. I took mine to an installer and had sound matting installed in the doors also, sounds great (to me anyway) now.

Yeah, I will do it soon enough. Just wanted to get by for the time being. Thanks!
