Factory Shocks

I have a '07 4runner. At about 30k, my steering sometimes shakes while driving on the highway. I brought it to the dealer and they replaced the shocks. The shaking went away. Now at 60k and my steering is started shaking again. Are the factory shocks that bad that you have to replace every 30k? I don't drive off road or using it for anything other normal driving. What kind of shocks should I replace with? I want something that last more than, much more than 30k. Thanks!

No way should you have to replace shocks at 30K, even the wimpy stocks ones.
At 60K you might need to replace the original ones, and other front end parts that could lead to "shakes" or vibrations.

Did they even check the steering stabilizer at 30K ? That would be a more likely culprit.
