Factory spare steel wheels with Tundra Calipers?

Is this a go or no go?

I don't think I've seen these 16" factory spare wheels mentioned in any of the Tundra Caliper threads (still searching). Would they fit?

I do have future plans for wheel spacers to get the tires lined up with the fenders.

I'm about to order the wheels and wanted to make sure they will be compatible.

Won't fit. I went to a junk yard and picked up an stock 5 star, mounted the tire, and put it back under the truck.

Do you think this will be the case with the 199mm TBU too? If so I will be in the hunt for a new spare too.

I forget where, but I've seen this mentioned. I believe the 199mm will fit the stock spare.

If not, then play musical wheels; trade a rear wheel to the front and put the spare on the back temporarily.

What about a 17" steel wheel?

Will it clear the 231 Tundra calipers?

Well that's a bummer. I was going to run spare steelies as my primary wheels. No chance of them fitting with 1.25" wheel spacers?

They *should fit with the spacers but I'm not 100% certain.

They should fit with the 199mm, that and having the 6 spoke wheels (split 3 spoke) is why I went with the 199s.

Depending if it's a front wheel or a rear wheel that is flat. It's a bit more work but you could always swap a rear wheel up front and put the spare on the rear.

I picked up a 17" steelie from a 5th gen.

FYI, it barely just fits underneath. It is very close (approx 1/2") to the cross bar (I dont know what it is called).
