Factory Window Tint

Hey guys. I have a 94 sr5 and The back windows were tinted from the factory. Do you guys know if this is something I will be able to take off, Its kinda a brown/ash color. Please let me know. Thanks

suggestions: 1.. calll an auto glass repair shop or a tint shop
2.. find someone you dont like with a toyota and try a heat gun ..only kidding

I have a '90. Sure looks like it's in the glass, not just tint applied to clear glass.

Mine's gray, not brown at all.

Factory "tint" is just colored glass. Yes it is darker, but it does nothing against heat or UV rays like tint would. You can't take it off without replacing the glass, but putting a light tint (high quality) on them like 35% should kill any brown discoloration without making it too dark.

My 95' Runner has "factory" tinted glass. It is "in the glass".
