Factoryride's Second Attempt Thread

Not a terrible lot happening lately..

I did install a Toytec BOSS lift this past weekend with the help of toyo and tomasallan Thank you guys!

Also, I wired up a cheapo 40" LED light bar a few weeks back. Should have some wheeling pics soon. Windrock in two weeks!!!

Well I've had a few things in the works over the last couple of months, and I reckon it's time to let everyone in on them.

Back around the end of August or so I caught word of a possible group buy going happening over on Tacoma World about some RTTs.

Well I happened to get in on it. It was limited to 10 people and the goal was to get some serious discounts on the tents. We ordered our tents straight through the manufacturer. The company is the same company who makes the tents for CVT, Tepui, and TJM.

The model is identical to the TJM Yulara and Tepui Autana. This is the result.

Another thing I've had in the works was the idea of more approach angle. I called up Luke at 4x4Labs and he happened to have what I wanted conveniently made up already. I wasn't able to get it right away, but ended up picking it up a couple of months later.

A HUGE thanks to toyo for lending his shop, tools, and help on this. Man has been a huge help these last couple of months on little projects here and there.

Also a thanks to tomasallan and blight1234 for showing up to help for a little while as well.

I also did the Satoshi grill at the same time. I have the TOYOTA emblem ready to go on too, but I just haven't yet.

Rigid Industry A-Series
Low-power - Amber (Turn Signal/ DRL)
High - Power - White (Fogs)

The two sets of lights are tied into the factory switches. No extra switches, which is what I was aiming for. Another HUGE thanks to toyo on this part especially. Talk about attention to detail when it comes to wiring stuff..

The end result

This past Sunday, our local 4runner group had our monthly beer and wings meet up. We had a great turn out. Old faces and new.

Looks sweet. We tried it on my rig once as well before you bought it. It's pretty mean!

Great to see you back! How's school?

School is going good 1E. I ended up changing my major into the accounting field. I just wasn't getting along with calc and physics. Took an accounting course for shits and giggles with one of my roommates and ended up liking it.

I'm really having to pull it together now. I slacked off some, and have classes towards another degree have put me back some. So it's 16 hour semesters for the next year and a half.

I also started working nights at UPS as data supervisor. So I've really had to get my stuff together from where I was just a couple of years ago.

I may eventually go back later on down the road and get the MET a try again.

Just checking in on you lol. Glad everything is working out. Keep your nose to the grindstone it will pay off soon!

Soo... I went wheeling this weekend. Rumor has it, Bell Mountain is getting graded soon so we decided to take a trip up it one more time. We also stopped in on Charlie's Creek.

I'll post more pictures later when my internet isn't being crappy. Thanks to tomasallan for taking these awesome pictures!
