Fair price for installation of lift and a few others..

What would you guys say is a fair price to pay for the installation of a lift kit(dobinsons springs and Bilstein 5100's), Xenon Depot HID low beam, Rigid Fog Lights, and black front and rear valances? I was thinking about going through the dealer but I don't know how I feel about being raped.

You can probably get the lift installed for $400-$600. The rest just do it yourself, it's not that hard.

I'd do all the lighting myself. It's very simple to do. Would rather put them on during my next free weekend than pay someone anything to do it for me.

Youre asking a very vague question honestly - it all comes down to where you live, who you ask, where you go, etc...

You can go down the street to your garage mechanic and get the whole thing done for $400. You go to Toyota and that number could easily quadruple.

If you're limited on time but dont want to get raped, i'd just install those items slowly overtime. I mean HIDs take 30min to install but shops will probably charge you like $150-300?

The valences take 5minutes each....fog lights probably about an hour only because you'll spend most of your time taking off the bumper.

The lift isnt as bad as you think - the biggest pain is the rear springs - the shocks themselves are just a 1-1 swap.

As others have said the lighting and valences should not take much time at all. 30 minutes for the HIDs, 1 hour for doing both Rigid fogs, and 30 minutes for front & rear valences. If you don't have time to do that it sounds more like an excuse for not wanting to learn how to do it. You can't complain about getting raped if you're not willing to get your elbows dirty once in a while. Just saying.

Yeah I think I'm just going to take my time and do each slowly. I've been looking into the install on the lights and I can definitely do that. I'm not sure about the valances because there's not much out there on those. I'll just be paying for the lift to be done.
