"Fake 4Runners?"

For years I have noticed that when Toyota changes body style, all the OTHER makers follow suit! What ones have you observed?

I'll start with new Range Rovers.

I can't get pictures to post but some examples are Ford Explorer, Subaru Forester, Land Rover (as stated)==all the 2020's. Search "Images" to see some.

It's pretty common knowledge that automakers tend to follow similar design cues for the respective time. They are trying to sell cars to a population with specific tastes, after all.

That being said, I don't think the 4Runner looks like anything out now, other than a generic SUV from the side.

I don't think the 4Runner has any copycat manufacturers out there lol. It's shaped like a refrigerator. Who would want to bite off that design?

If anything it's the German manufacturers and high line luxury cars that do it most often. New 3 series BMW look like Lexus IS models and etc.

Yeah, but since OP titled the thread Fake 4Runners, I agree with others that 4Runners are not copied by anyone. Other vehicles, sure. The 5th Gen is so off-trend and blocky, I think most automakers are afraid of it.
