I’ve seen the wildpeak at3 but I just came across these. Any word on these compared to the wildpeak. I do like the looks of these more than the wildpeak, espically the sidewalls. The tread depth is the same for the application I want.

That’s a good looking tire. Weight seams to be about the same between the two. Not sure what one I think looks better though.

As far as specs and features go, they appear to be nearly identical. I don’t think anyone will ever agree which one looks better, which is what it will come down to since they are so damn similar.

I’m a bit surprised Falken made such a closely competing tire in their own line. Plus the Wildpeaks seem much more widely available.

I had read in another thread that these are in limited markets and only available to distributors directly from Falken. The same technologies, same silica compound. I’ve been eyeing these up to get instead of the AT3Ws. They’re on eBay.

According to another forum, they’re only available through Plaza Tire in Missouri. Supposedly they called Falken customer service and were told that.

It appears they do make a 285 70 17 in both an E and P load range with this tire.
