back when i was looking at tires, 265-70r17 always came out cheaper than the 265/65r17.
best prices for tires might be tire-rack or discount tires direct, they are the same company now, but sign up for there credit program and get rebates. also if you call them, tell them you found it cheaper some where else and see if they will price match or beat there price, i use the extra savings and put it toward road hazard.

edit; My bad, just double checked the order and they are 215/65r17 so won't work.

Can't believe I missed this. I better start paying more attention as my son is needing tires for his 4runner. I am just glad theu are cheaper to buy for his than my Jeep with 35's

Got my tires this AM which is pretty awesome thanks Amazon Prime was a 48 delivery!
For reference tires check out fine match the specs i ordered and date code was 49/22 so only 2 months or so old which is great.
Now to get them mounted not sure I can get all 4 with the wheels into the car.

Anyone who wants the tires at a good price, just bump up to 265/70 and they are $185 per tire at the moment. I'd jump on this if I needed tires right now.

I have had these tires on my 05 Tundra since Jan,2020. Have put about 20k miles on them with no issues. Very quiet, no grip issues, rotated every oil change (3 to 5k) and plenty of miles to go. Still at 8/32 tread depth. No complaints here. Mostly city and highway with a few dirt roads and the beach tossed in…
