Farewell trustful friend

This weekend was kind of tough for me. After tossing and turning i came to the insane action and traded in my 98 Limited. I bought it in 2004 with 131K on it and now has 256K. 12 years and 125K of great times. It did need some work as the valve gaskets leaked bad and RMS, boots were busted, fading paint and rusty fenders. Engine still ran great and electronics were still good. So i traded up for an 08 SR5. I wanted a newer trail ed but they are hard to find and needed something fairly soon. Its a great ride but its going to take getting used to and has some big shoes to fill. I loved the 98. Never got her stuck, extremely reliable (even though had alt and starter went out on me while i was out). Nothing major just little fixes along the way. If you have any advise for mods for the 4th gen, send them my way. Looking to add a 2-3" lift and some few other upgrades.

I had to vent and write something out. Thanks for listening. And thanks to my 98 for all the fun and great trips. You'll be missed.

I did almost the the same thing last year.... got myself an 08 SR5, but I couldn't bare to part with my '00 SR5, so I kept it! Going 3rd to 4th gen is fairly easy, although I still miss some features that were deleted on the 4th's
