Fat lip brush guard on non fat lip bumper

So i'm trying to sell my brush guard and the buyer has a 98 4runner. I have a 99 with the "fat lip" style bumper and just wanna see if it would work. It looks like it would bolt right up to the '98 but then there would be a big gap. has anyone tried this at all? anyone have pics or anything? do you know if it would bolt up?

itll work though it might look funny due to the blank gap... but the mounting and such is exactly the same for all 3rd gens.
