ok...had a long day... my right front cv boot ripped a bit ago..been neglecting it and i got greese all over the place..ah... had the day off so i stopped by my shop to use a lift and some air power. everything goes smoothly when u have the proper tools

i noticed my rf lower ball joing was in bad shape so i took no chance and replaced it...

then i got home and did my valve cover gaskets..oil was begging to seep throught and i did not want oil all over the place. while i was there i did plugs and wires.

sooo... as i am takin out the middle plug on the passnger side i notice the plug is a little hard to remove...no big deal ive done this before. this is my first time doing my plugs on my rig since the owner i got it from said they were just changed. i took out the plug and WTF!?!?!? the persons who did the plugs previously ****ed up the threads and decided to tap it out to a godzilla size plug! there is a huge difference in plug size ****en douchebag. the truck runs fine but i was unable to put a new plug in that cylinder so i reused it for now... i wil replace it later when i find out what plug fits...*******, ah that pissed me off

did a little painting on the valve covers... jus something different

and now my coolant gauge does not work

coolsnt sensor was not disconnected..no fuses blown... any suggestions...besides lighting this ***** on fire

got the sliders painted...and ski rack back on

waiting on gussets now to weld the sliders on

got my sliders on

welder took a **** while welding the rear gusset on the passenger side so that will have to be finished on monday

we ended up shortening these to about 6 inches

they stick ouyt a little more then i expected, but i like it..its functional as a step too

Did you have any problems getting the grip tape to stick? For some reason when I tried to add it to my sliders it wouldn't stick. :redbrick:

^ yea it is kinda a pain but its staying...i guess we'll see how long. i got a extra roll anyhow
