Hung out in Tahoe this new year. It was mainly all rain until Jan 2nd / 3rd... Here are a few pics...

Really great pics. I almost thought your 4Runner was the same as mine (06 Galactic Gray Sport Edition)... until I noticed it was just the LED taillights!

Great Pics!!

Honestly I am Jealous. I live in Iowa and we "normally" get plenty of snow in winter. I purchased the 4R in summer last year and never stop wishing for the snow to come. Fate has it this winter has been one of the driest. I always complained about too much snow... now with the 4R I wanted snow... what do I get... Shinny warm days in the middle of January!!

Anyway... I am sure the 4R will last to see plenty of snow storms...

Again Congrats on your machine and those pics!!

Send some snow this way before winter is over.

Woah kewl, didnt even notice I ended up 4runner of the month until just now. Lol.

Thanks for all the great comments. The 4R has been awesome in the snow and ice. My tires are stock size, and I just recently switch out the dunlops for Revos... Oh so much nicer :)

I'm heading to mammoth tomorrow, so I'm hoping for some percipitation.
 
I hate to make this comment because those are some nice pics, but please don't be lazy and take a few seconds brush the snow off the top of the car when there is a significant snowfall like that. A good friend of mine was in a serious accident when a chunk of ice flew off a truck in front of him and smashed his windshield.

I can see there was nobody on the road where you were, but if you got on the highway like that it could cause an accident. The police will pull you over on the highways here if it's excessive.

Those are the dunlops in the picture, but i have since upgraded to revos. The dunlops were only good on the street, not really very good for ice and snow. I mean they are ok, but tend to break loose often. The revos have yet to slip on me...
 
Did you just buy the 06 LED tail lights and plug them in to work? Or did it require additional wiring to replace the stock 05 tail lights? Thanks in advance.
