Did you just buy the 06 LED tail lights and plug them in to work? Or did it require additional wiring to replace the stock 05 tail lights? Thanks in advance.

06 tail lights are plug and play. Pop out the old ones, save the bulbs. Pop in the new ones, reconnect everything and you are finished. You will reused the blinkers and reverse lights, the old brake bulbs are no longer needed. Took about 20 minutes for whole job.

Those are some nice. I spend as much time in Tahoe as I can since it is only 25 minutes from where I live.

I was checking out your photo in the snow and thought you might enjoy a pic of my 4runner the same day, Jan 2 in Mammoth. We woke up buried under 4' overnight. Cleared the front, put it in Low and drove right out (and don't worry, I cleared the top before hitting the road)!!

Where on earth did you find the 06 tail lights? Did you just have to get them from a dealer. I looked everywhere online and could not find them.
