February meet

I am fully in for the first Sat of Feb at Anza.

We should meet at 8:30am at the Visitors Center in Anza-Borrego state park.

You can find it via Google maps or the web.

I will need advice on what trails we should take. More to follow.

No, you will not need chains. It is very dry. 2WD can come but you may have to split off on your own part way through.

If anyone is interested in camping Friday night before the trip let me know. More the merrier.

** Videos and pics of Anza can be found at the end of my build thread (drop a comment)

I suggest updating the first post with the location and time. We also need a trail leader who knows the area well. The sooner the date and location gets set in stone the better the chances of having a good turnout.

Date Feb 4th 2012?
Meet up time 8:30am

Location: Anza Borrego Visitor center

(Is this the correct location?)
200 Palm Canyon Drive Borrego Springs CA 92004-5005
Visitor Center: 760-767-4205 Park Headquarters: 760-767-53
