Those sons of *****es!
I was SO EXCITEDLY awaiting the arrival of my borla exhuast this morning, and I was up early patiently waiting and pacing ALL FOR NOTHING!
THOSE SONS OF *****ES!
I had my eye on the online tracking website and at 11:15am I looked at it just for the hell of it and it says "10:53am customer not home or business closed", and im just like WTF!!
So ive spoken with 4 different fedex reps, all with civility and respect, and they basically cant do sh|t. They cant communicate with the driver in any way, all they can do is put in a fvcking gay 'request' for same day re-attempt, which the girl assured me was ONLY A REQUEST and most likely wont be obliged.
I mean, there is a catch withh my house/addy. My house and the two to my left are all misnumbered, it goes like so 4722 {4726} {4728} [4724 ME] {4730} etc all in the right order... So its not unpossible that the guy went to the wrong house, which in its position one would think (many UPS and pizza guys have) that it is 4724 which it isnt... but still, my adress is on my house AND mailbox, which is placed obviously infront of my house.

Im just pissed that I dont get to play with my new toy especially after all the anticipation and paying for SAT deilvery..
What the hell, dont they know how to use mapquest or something? jesus, it is 2007.. or how about a phone number? The customer service reps wanted it so they could contact me, but why doesnt the driver have it to begin with.

And to twist the knife in my side, i DID at one point look out my window to see a fedex truck wiz by about a block away on another street. that motherfvcuker has my exhaust. i wonder if i chased him down and showed him my id if he would have given it to me.

ok Rant (here) off. Im gonna be frazzled all the way till tuesday when its next scheduled attempt will be, which ill probably also miss since ill be at school till 430. :-(
I wanted to do intake and exhaust at the same time, maybe ill just do the volant today and sulk the whole time. SIKE

NO NEED to sulk The volant was VERY EASY and though I havent gotten to test it really other than a freeway ride home, I am PLEASED! Its been a nice day altho it rained like the 100 yr storm.
still, fvck fedex, and their gay same day re-attempt.

I feel you man, FedEx always screws up! I used to order stuff from REI and they would ship it via FedEx. They had a guarantee that if it wasn't delivered on time it was free. Needless to say I have many free and duplicate items from them!

I mean, being almost 2008 you would think that fedex, baing one of the most worldly known shipping companies, could get such simple things right but i guess not!
I definatly think that they should pay for their screw ups, im being re-imburssed for the shipping :

ps- UPS used to screw up, but hardly do anymore

Im going to pick it up tommorow at the local fedex place, probably a little later in the afternoon (2 or 3pm)....which will give me time to put it on tomorro.. but I have two exams friday so I really need to be studying. However, I KNOW that once I have the box in my hands I wont be able to wait So im anticipating early this week.

UPDATE

hahahaha..... ahhhhhh.

Well, I went yesterday to pick up my package at the local fedex place, to find that no such package was there.... so i figured id wait to see if it shows up today, NOPE. (again, they went to the wrong house, 3rd time)


After many more phone calls I FINALLY got connected with someone at the FEDEX terminal where my package is holed up (cocoa beach, 1+- hr away) who was able to do anything helpful. The girl was able to tell me that they will be re-attempting delivery (4th time) either Friday or Saturday, which blows.... but i dont really have many options.
I told her that I was told that I could get my box at the local place, but she informed me that Saturday deliveries/ground are at their own serperate terminal and that they cannot relay packages to and from this place.
Basically, I can go pick the sh1t up whenever I want too, but since its over an hour away and I have WAAAYY too much studying to doo, i shall wait.

It looks like this weekend WILL be the weekend.
I cannot believe how crappy fedex services are.... and I understand that they arent typically like so... but damn!

Im going to get a flourecent sign to put out by the road w/ my address.

Oh man, ive tried SO HARD to be decent with all the fvckers on the phone who were in the end OF absolutelty no help. I feel it is basically a waste of time to call the 1-888 fedex number and will never do it again....
When I did finally get ahold of the mgr. at the Cocoa Bch 'portal' she was quite apologetic and nearly as baffled as I was as too why they couldnt find the house... which I DO have my addy on the house and mailbox which is across the street..

Its basically a purely laziness prob... the drivers obviously werent looking at addresses but rather what house SHOULD be there, now granted I understand that this probably isnt something a fedex driver has to do : figure out if the house in the spot of 4724 is REALLY 4724, but shit, still.......

I am going to ask the guy who DOES deliver it if he was the guy who tried 7 days earlier (@ wrong house), and if he says yes, im going to drag him inside and cut him up into little pieces ;-)

Ha UPS sucks too. I ordered some Infinity components off eBay last year. Somewhere in the system my house number was changed one digit off, and my shipment was sent back to the seller as "no such address". He re-sent it, signature required, and of course with me being at work all day, they make the usual attempts then say they will send it back. So I had to have them hold the package at a local hub so I could physically go down there and pick the item up myself. Real great time saver paying for shipping to your home when you have to make a half hour drive to a UPS hub to pick up your shit eh. Bas****s.

But USPS is even worse. When I moved in with the wife, when we were still just engaged, I had my mail forwarded here. Unbeknownst to us, the mailman, being a total re****, put "return to sender" on my mail because the name was different than he'd seen before!!!! My bank statements quit coming for months, other bills got sent back, etc, and we could nto figure out why only half of my mail got through. Finally the fiancee caught the mailman outside as he was delivering, and asked if he knew why I had so much trouble getting mail here. He said "Oh, does this person live here?? She said yeah, why? "Oh I figured it was incorrectly addressed since the name was different so I have been marking them return to sender incorrect address." That dumb son of a *****!!! She chewed his ass and it's lucky we didnt report him. If it's addressed correctly, it doesnt matter if it says Mahatma Ghandi on that sum*****, it goes in that damn mailbox. It's not up the the mail carrier's discression!!! Somehow a SMARTER mail carrier on my route actually did put some of my mail in the box like he was supposed to. Thank God he was on the route the day my Lockheed Martin hire on proposal paperwork came in, or they could have costed me the chance of a job!!! :bash:

I have the opposite problem. We get mail for about 4 people in our box even after telling the mailman and the the post office it isn't ours! We even get payments from businesses to some company that the former owner set up through the house. Thank god we're moving into a new house this month!

I just got home from school and found the box inside, i spose my roomate was home to recieve it, YESSS!

Now to decide to put it on today or tomorrow? hehehe
