Happy Thanksgiving to all first of all, I have a few issues with my 02 4Runner

Number 1 - Im getting shit for gas mileage. At best 15 highway doing about 65 mph and watching my RPMs. Ill be lucky to get 250 to the tank... I've used techron in the past and changed the oil and tranny fluid. Im running full synthetic oil and dextron 3 high mileage tranny fluid. My tires are ok tred wise and the pressure is fine. I just dont understand what can be happening.

Number 2 - How hard is it to change the LED bulbs in the dash? And what is the process in doing so??

hmm 250 doesnt sound out of line although ive been getting close to 300 on my highway trips recently. so it would break down to around 18/20. maybe it just needs some maintenance like cleaning the MAF, replacing fuel filter, clean the TB things of the sort. and see what happens from there.

Agreed on that. I get between 300-320 on a tank. Go though and do the maintenace items and check your tire pressure as well.

Do you have any mods to your 4runner that could be affecting it?

I'm thinking it could be the gas, Some states oxygenate their gas in the winter to produce less emissions. my truck (in the summer) gets about 300 to 320 a tank if I'm Highway driving however winter gas drops it quite a bit. in fact on my recent road trip i filled up at chevron (where i always do) and got a measly 14 miles to gallon. it was terrible! i almost didn't make it to the next city. However after i filled up again at a Sinclair i went up to about 18, and then this one should be at about 20. i hope...

I get 16 consistently, but I always drive around in town never on the highway.
