Thanks for the compliment man! I got the whole set of 4 for around $5.00 .... and thanks for the compliment on the Tire carrier! It's one of my favorite things about my truck! Not as cool as a 2nd Gen or Surf Swing out, but does the trick!

More cleaning!
Well, since I still have a ton of time on my hands, I decided to shampoo my seats and carpets today!
The process is pretty easy:
1) I spot treat any grease spots with WD40, and give it a light scrub.
2) I then take a spray bottle with a mixture of Laundry detergent and water, and spray the entire carpet and seat. Afterward, I scrub it again.
3) I take a hose (using the water sparingly, on a mist setting), and shop vac the water out as I'm rinsing.
After I'm done, I let it air dry, and then toss down a cold beer!
Here's some pics of the finished product:
*Note: the carpet is still damp in these pics.

I do need a job.... still looking! In the mean time, I'll keep finding things around the house and on the truck to keep me busy! lol!

Here's my little secret mod I've been working on!
HID Auxiliary HIGHBEAM Driving lights
I've been planning this mod for a couple of weeks, and actually got the idea from my buddy Lee (AKA: LD FORGET).
He not only gave me the idea, but he wired them up for me as well:
I went on E-bay and ordered up some HID bulbs H1 4300k, and within a week they were shipped to my door:
The box looked a little mangled, but the contents were safe and sound:
Here's a comparison of the Halogen VS the New HID bulbs:
We realised that the HID's were a little too long for the housings I had, and tried to use some gasket maker to bring up the mounting surface so they would fit in the housings:
We then decided that it wasn't a good idea, and ended up messing up the housings so we opted for some replacements:
We disassembled them, and just used the lens portion of the light:

Then I cut and drilled the back of my old housings so they would fit the new lens housings:
The back all bottoned up:
I then mounted them to see if they looked OK without a trim piece covering the front:
I then decided the trim piece had to go on, and slotted them so they would fit the old rear housings and mounted them:
And an overall pic:
Basically, the lights have been wired so that they are run off the stock switch. My Headlights are single beam, and run in the low beam setting. When I switch on the Highbeams, the new Auxiliary HID's kick in and add some extra clarity to the road.
I still have to aim them, but will post some night shots when I get that done.

Thanks guys! Lee did all of the wiring, and then helped me mess up my housings.. (Just kidding!).
He then helped me to set up the new housings so they were basically plug and play, and all I had to do, was seal them into the back housing, and then notch and install the front trim piece.
Without his help with the wiring, I would have had to just set them up with a switch and inline fuse. But thanks to Lee, they have an inline fuse, relay, a Diode, and run off the stock High beam switch!

Hey Fightman, why are your headlights single beam? Is that just due to the type of bulb?

The lights were purchased from my buddy Lee for a really cheap price, and only have a low beam option.
You can get high/low beam HID's but for $40.00 from Lee, I couldn't resist. I ended up deciding to go with HID's for the Auxiliary lights, and Lee advised that we could wire them up as my Highbeams, so I went for it!

Alright, so here are the night shots! I took the liberty to take some shots while adjusting my headlights in the garage. The combo seem to light up the garage with no issues!
HA HA! How do you like the pic?? Noticed my wife is in there, sweeping my shop floor! I have it good! lol!
Anyway, the here are the goods! I took these down a dark country dirt road.
Just my headlights (AKA Low Beams):

I like it! I'll have to test it more on the road, but shouldn't have too many issues, as the headlights were already being used before, with no complaints from other drivers.

Alright, so less of a mod, and more of a restoration piece! Today, I stopped by the post office and found another little gift there for me!
I had made arrangements with CJ80Cruiser for a slightly used "T" emblem for my rear hatch. (Thanks man!)
Mine was starting to bubble pretty bad:
His was nearly new!
I did what I usually do to remove my old "T" emblem. I used a razor knife blade, and carefully pulled it through the adhesive. After doing so, I was left with this:
A good coat of Goo Gone, and the paint was smooth. I then applied some gasket maker to the back of the emblem, and then pressed it on.
The old emblem made it to my beer fridge with my other emblems:
