Fightman's Build Thread

THanks guys... It really was a pain trying to line this up! lol! My work schedule was really brutal for a while.... tons of hours... no time to do anything! lol!

I didn't match the back.... I don't want too much unwanted attention by the Police.... so it's lighter up front.... but looks better than clear! ;)

I'm off tomorrow, so I'll definitely take some pics and post them up!

I had 20% for about a year, then I stepped it up to 5% over my original 20% talk about not being seen :wink2: It's probably overkill for most but I love it so much. Fightman, you'll love the tint. It'll make your rig look even more BA

yeah I don't know how the police are up there but since i left my rears stock, you can still see through everything really good so I don't THINK i draw too much attention but then again, every time i drive by a police, I cringe.

the worst part is passing inspection IMO

holy dark batman! that is crazy! How do you get away with it? and yes it does look so sick! I wish tint laws just didn't exist, or maybe they could profile to no dark tint on cars and trucks with wheels that are worth more than the vehicle... I'm not racist i swear!
 
No inspection for one! Haha like you I cringe every time I see a cop but so far so good! I've also been through 2 roadblocks, I just roll down the front two windows and its worked so far!

I like it... kinda subtle.. and definitely not stock! :) And it only cost me $40.00!

That awesome. I would love to get darker tint on the rest of my windows, it just looks killer!

Definitely alot better with the fronts tinted Fightman...now you're just gonna have to more observant of the Popo's everytime you're on the road..

Nah...they should just legalize this matter once and for all coz I want to do mine as well. Last time didn't go so well for me, that is!

I just love the transition from dark to light insted of dark to blank..makes everything flow more swiftly altogether.

For those of you who are interested... I've updated my FIRST post in this Build thread, so that it's more READER friendly. Complete with links to the specific page where I posted specific mods and repairs. SHould make looking for specific info a lot easier! :)
 
No new mods.... been driving it though, and thought I'd take a profile shot of it with the new tint.....

Tint looks great Fightman! That was one of my first mods. I know if helps cool my T4R during the Florida summers.

What is all that white stuff on the ground?
 
That would be snow my friend.... however..... we did have a thaw which wiped out a bunch of it. That being said, we are getting another decent snow fall tonight, so there will be more to shovel in the morning.... lol!
 
Tint looks sweet fightman! I recently got my fronts tinted to match the rears and it changes the look completely! Also somewhat surprising how much it helps darken the cabin by just tinting two more windows.

This a great idea, but it doesn't work for me. :Cry:

I think it's because your links go to a Page, and not everyone has the same amount of posts per page. You should make your links point to the actual post number. Just sayin'.

Great build thread, with tons of info to help out others!! :frog:
 
Good luck with all that white stuff. I enjoy visiting snowy places but don't know how I d do with it all winter.

I agree with TCMach, tinting just two windows makes a world of difference. What's the next mod?
