Fightman's Build Thread

Looks good FM!
i saw a sport hood in my area for $300, but i think i may keep my stocker

$300 for the hood is decent man! I paid almost $900 for mine (but it was new)...

If I could have gotten one for that price... I would have bought it for sure! lol!

The stock hood looks good too man... the clear on mine was starting to peal, and I had a ton of road rash on it... Don't get me wrong... I love my new scooped hood... but the 3rd Gen hoods do look pretty decent without them too.

This was a long time coming... but I finally pulled the trigger on the TBU! My brakes were scary bad... seized... and not really working anymore... :/

Spent a half day today installing these.... much better braking power now! :)

I'm very happy I did this... all parts purchased from my local Canadian Tire Autoparts counter. :)

$2100 ..... I hope that isn't Canadian dollars ($2655 US) ... because DAMNNNNN you could have painted the whole truck down here for that cash.

Your trucks look great. I hope you are doing well. :lookout:

2100 CAD is ~1700USD. You're going the wrong way!

To repaint the whole truck... I was quoted over $7000.00! lol! Maple Syrup dollars.. ;)

Awesome looking truck!! Love the green. Are you in Sudbury by any chance? I just picked up my first 4runner/first offroad project and want to do some wheeling and meet a few guys that know what they're doing.

Sorry for the lack of updates.... but gave the old alloys some polish!

And replaced my rusty rear passenger side bumperette! (no pic! lol)

This weekend, Mean Green got some pampering, and got a nice coat of Nufinish, and a quick detail job in the new garage!

I'm roughly 2 weeks away from having a completed garage to work in... so pumped! I'll post pics of the new 3rd Gen's new home, when it's all done.. but here is a sneak peak!

Must be nice to have space...

I'm going to Fort Frances for work for a few months. Still a long way from you though. The runner will stay home though.
