Finally back in a 4x4

After 10 years Im finally back where I belong. Made the decision after my 2005 Acura TL hit 100k miles. I had to make a decision to either spend 2 grand on the 105 k service and still be driving the same car, or buy something else. I've always loved Toyota's. I bought by wife a 2010 camry hybrid a few years back and was very surprised of low maintenance they are compared to other cars. I also fell in love with the 2010 4 runner body style when it first came out. I really didn't care much for leather/climate control or navigation since Ive had that for years, and wanted something lower maintenance and leather looks like crap after 7-10 years if you don't baby it. Apparently it is very difficult to find a slightly used sr5 4wd 4 runner in the los angeles area. But I did eventually and now I'm here. Im excited to be part of this great forum and can't wait to learn/contribute as much as i can.

Thanks for reading

Haha yeah baldwin park is somewhat diverse. I'm Norwegian and Scottish in heritage, so I am very white. My wife although is Hispanic....so hopefully my offspring won't get the skin cancer gene I have. I move a lot, only been living here for a few months. Previously I lived in Azusa, and before that I grew up in Los altos ca. I spent a lot of time at hollister ohv with my first 4x4. Can't wait too be a part of the next so cal event.
