Finally building up the runner and need some help

I just installed the toytec ultimate 3" lift and doing the tundra brake swap next. What I'm looking for is some 16" rims that will fit 285/75/16 tires without spacers for when I need new ones. Preferably black rims also but not opposed to powder coating them. Or am I being silly by not wanting to put spacers on? Any input would help. Thanks all.

I put on some newer 4Runner wheels when I did my lift, they had a similar back spacing to stock. I ended up having to put spacers on because I was getting tire rub on the frame and the top of the uca. Once I put the spacers on I had terrible tire rub and had to put on a body lift.

For fun, have you considered 265/75/16 instead? Imo, the better tire, unless 95% of your driving is in boulder-laden rock gardens

What absolam said. 265 75 16 is the largest tire that will fit without rubbing unless you want a body lift. I have 2 sets of tires, 265 70 16 for Summer with the exact rims you have, however, I re-finished them---- I've seen lots of guys paint or plastidip them and I have 265 70 17 (also the largest that will fit)for Winter --- lots more aggressive--- these rims came off a Sequoia. I painted these. Right now you have the nicest stock 16" rims ... if you want to stick with these--- just paint them.

I myself, aren't crazy about spacers. I seen pics of failures--- one more thing to break. Lots of guys here run them, so its really personal preference---- ensure they're installed correctly! Great looking truck! Good luck!

The 285 would get your axle further off the ground. But I would agree with [MENTION=79826]absalom[/MENTION] that if you aren't rock crawling a lot the 265's are a good choice. I run some 265/75r16 and they are adequate for what I do. I would prefer a 255/85r16 but there seems to really only be one choice in that size....
