Finally finished my satoshi grill

After a bunch of sanding it’s done! The emblem is from an ‘81 Hilux pick up, in honor of my first Toyota.

I asked SRQ fabrications on instagram about an 03-05 grille and they said “coming soon”, so hopefully we’ll see something.

It’s an OEM emblem that I hand painted. This is how I bought on eBay for $35

Same emblem for the 4x4 Truck. I had an ‘81 and ‘83 so I’ve always loved that style.

Looks great! I have a grill waiting for me to start on it. I had two of those grill emblems to use as well. I still miss my '83 SR5!

The emblems listed as the 4x4 sold for a lot more, even though they are identical. The one I bough was a little rough, but I sanded the chrome off before painting it so it didn’t really matter

I am planning on making another one with my factory grill. It’d turn out so much better after learning a lot after the first one.
