Hello to all from western Maryland. One of the great things about selling cars (I am not a evil car salesman by the way) is getting first pick at trade ins. I just bought a 98 SR5 V6 5 speed with 43,000 miles that is clean as can be. I used to work in the car audio business and can't wait to start installing.

Wow, 43,000 miles on a 11 year old car. Amazing. The stock stereo does suck. I have seen members put a sub-woofer in the right side of the trunk were there is a empty compartment and it looks really sharp. Let us know what you do to your 4Runner & congrats on your "new" 4Runner.

I haven't completely decided on what I am installing yet. In a former life I was a professional installer, (gave it up a few years ago) and I do have some nice stuff laying around the house. Probably do my avic with a couple of rockford amps. haven't decided on how I am going to do a sub yet. And I will def do my compustar remote start that is currently in my 93 pickup.

welcome!! and great deal!! hhahaha u can truelly say it was only driven by a little old lady to the grocery store. ahaha what kind of system u getting??

i have some stuff laying around the house here that i know for sure that i am going to put in. I have an avic n1, rockford punch amps, and kicker ss series speakers that all came out of the 05 sierra that i used to have. my wife has been on me to get the stuff out of the house and this is the best way that I can think of. And yes the truck is in pristine condition. The only things I have had to do is clean the headliner where the sunroof had leaked at some point (I had a local glass shop make sure it wasn't still leaking) and for some reason the leather on the steering wheel was in rough shape so I had that fixed as well.
