Been looking for a Gen 3 in decent shape for months. Wanted a 4x4 but every single one I looked at down here in swamp country was either worn out, grossly overpriced, or had close to 300K on the clock already.
So... took the plunge yesterday and bought a black 1999 2WD SR5, nice tan cloth interior, one-owner truck with 120K on the clock that was bought new by a redneck gal down here. Still all stock, it was used as a grocery getter. It has a couple of little dings and scratches, but will start messing about with it in the next few months and it started doing daily driving duty for me today.
Big adjustment for me - for the last six years I've been driving a 2006 Roush Mustang! Been reading the forum for months, glad to finally have a truck. Take care! :driving:
