Unfortunately they still have the previous owners VW and work truck showing for my house. I checked a few other aerial views...

our last apartment

Ive noticed the newer pics are cleaner and brighter, I think Google must be using Higher resolution and better quality cameras or lids or something. I know they had downgraded the quality for privacy reasons, now that the software automatically deletes people and blurs out license plates maybe they went back to higher res pics.

I know I was following a camera one day about 3 years ago and I check every once in awhile but cuz it was on a highway it doesnt seem like it was on.

Well this sucks. The overhead view doesn't show any vehicles, and the street view is from about 5 years ago, before we even moved in.

Yep, my street view is too old as well. The street view for my old place has my dad's Dakota, because I was driving it for some reason at the time. Street view at the new place is from way before we moved in.

mine is garaged100%. I work from home so no pics. google map shows 4 year old picture of my infinity parked in front.

I checked and in the sticks in VA no street view pics at either my current or former house. So i took my own!

What ever happened to this thread? I, for whatever reason was messing with Google maps, and low and behold saw my runner. First thing I thought of was this thread.

Post up the pic :)

Let's get it started again?

My street view from the original post is the same. I did find my other two cars at their previous owners houses, though.

My probe, careful you don't get too close. Remember, you don't get into it, it gets into you

None at my house, but here it sits with the PO's Rubicon at his place.

(I had the image but can't figure out how to make it not show my address.) Grr. Need to download screenshot software I guess.

That is cool how you got the interactive map going

Although it will probably change photos someday, people viewing this thread in the coming months/years may not see a 4Runner there anymore.

Regardless, nice rides man

Ha. Ha. There will ALWAYS be a 4Runner there! I was looking at a 4th gen a couple of weeks ago but realized I would no longer have enough space for 5 humans, luggage and a big dog on those long rides.

I have to download some new screenshot software I guess.

I just read your entire Probe thread. I did not realize they were really Mazdas. Did you know there's a popular mod with Probe headlight motors for 67-68 Cougars? The old Cougars use vacuums to open/close and they are quirky.

A few years back driving the ML, and pulled over to help some stranded motorists... :biggrin2:

I saw the google car with the 8 Cameras on top driving through town once, didn't come down our road out in the country though.

Looks like the overhead was updated ~4 Months ago so my runner was in the driveway.

So I went to the PO's house to see if I could see it there, nope, but he must be a real toyota guy, cause when I was there, he had my runner, a tundra, and a lowered taco. (Mine's not the Green Limited.)

It took them 4 years to update mine, it used to show my 98 4R, never showed the Highlander I had, but now shows my 2003. Just happy Google knows where her home is :biggrin2:

EDIT: sorry for the blurry picture, I had to edit it to be able to see it well.
