Finally got a 3rd gen(pics)

Whatsup guys, im david from texas.

i scored a 98 4runner 4x4 5speed. no locker:bash:
Stellar blue metallic

its 113000mi, i will post pics tomorrow

but now my hazard and blinkers dont work. i can hear it shorting in the fuse location under the steering wheel. i checked to see if the harness was plugged in to the hazard button and it is.

check the relay in the engine bay and fuses i would start there for sure man

i checked them and none were burned. but the fuse for the turn signal under the steering wheel melted the plastic on the fuse a little.

well on the turn signal fuse there is a 30 instead of a 10. is this the problem?

Btw, in the 3rd picture you posted it shows that you do actually have a locker.

no thats the clutch start button lol

i put a 10 fuse and no luck. i dont want to get a ticket

I like those 98s and the flat face bumpers.

Check one side at a time rear bulbs just to be sure. Maybe have a spare of each bulb.

don't forget to check the dumb stuff like making sure the hazard switch is connected, maybe someone swapped the stereo and forgot to plug it back in. the turn signals run through the hazard switch, so if that is broken, or unplugged it will disable all of them.

ok guys i changed the relay. now only my hazard work but only one light flashes(the right side) and my signals still dont work:awais: :bash:
