Finally got a 4Runner

I've actually been a "member" since April of last year. Now it's official, I found a runner that was right for me yesterday. It's a white '94 2wd in near mint condition if you can believe it. It only has 111K miles and has been a Florida car it's whole life! Excuse me, but I'm a little giddy over this purchase still :biggrin2:

I will post pics of her in the classic t4r 2nd gen picture thread later when I get time.

I look forward to many durable miles and learning much from this site. Thanks again for having me.

Welcome and nice find! I myself just purchased a '99 and was in the same boat. This site is full of great info and has contributed to me finding exactly what I wanted.

Congrats on the truck. I have a soft spot for the 3rd Gen 4Runners. They just look so freaken sweet .

I just bought mine 06 on Saturday and when i parked it at work today, I kept looking back at it the entire time i walked away.

There is a lot of useful info on this forum and your going to love that truck. Let the modding begin.

2003 4Runner Limited

Hey everybody,

I have wanted one of these since I was in high school. My 1987 daily driver was proving too time consuming so I started researching these about a week ago and have been lingering on the site every night. I picked up a Stratoshphere Mica 2003 Limited last night with 83,365 on the clock. Very clean and I can't wait to drive it around today.

Now I just need to search here and find out why everybody is obsessed with leveling kits. What's the deal there? Is it dire?
