My fellow 4Runners,
Just got back from Direct Tire in San Antonio where my new rims and tires were installed. I literally just got home. I know that most readers of this forum are off roaders so please be gentle with your comments... I didn't want to go with the bling of chrome because i didnt think it would look right with the gold of the truck. They are DeModa Concept 22" Machine Faced Intimidator 2's wrapped in Nitto 420S 265/35R/22 tires. Enough rambling... Here they are...

Honestly the ride feels better than the stock rims and tires. One reason could be is that I am driving a lot slower now. Youy know.... 2 miles per hour so everybody see's you...

nice wheels...but why did you go with 35 series tires??? 265/40 22 is the same diameter as the stock tires and would have given a better ride with a little more cushion for bumps and stuff...but other than that, looks good...i'm not a big fan of chrome so machined or silver looks sweet...btw, what part of sa are you in? i'm on the northeast side...

You need to change the white balance setting of your camera from indoor/tungsten to auto in order to get rid of the blue cast in the images.

Nice rims by the way. I'm not usually a fan of big rims on 4Rs, but those look nice.

22's Look HUGE on 3rd gens! Its not the same effect for us with 4th gens unfortunately . Sick set of rims you have too!!
