Finally got my Savage Rear Tire Carrier installed!

It was incredibly easy to install and it feels solid as a rock, however you do need to know how to weld to do it your self.

I was thinking the same. It looks lime the front of the bumper is angled way up.

Looks sweet. Like ^ though it looks like its sagging a bit. Pretty cool product though, the lack of a swing out on these was the only reason I didn't get one back when. Love having tube elements on a bumper.

Regarding the sag. That's my fault with the install, it was always like that, but it doesn't bother me and isn't noticeable unless its highlighted by the angle. Here's another photo to show it before with the sag.

It took me about 3 hours start to finish, but I'm not a very proficient with metal.

Btw, it doesn't say so on the website, but it comes with a light for the license plate, and a tab for a CB antenna (I used the tab to mount a Rigid Industries Mini SR as a reverse light).

Sorry Rudy97 to hijack, but I noticed you mounted your hi-lift jack on your front bumper, can or do you have some pictures of that closer up? I love the idea, I just got one, but I'm not sure where to put it, since I don't have a good roof rack and I don't want it rolling around inside...

that bumber looks clean man iv been shoping around for a rear bumber with tire carrier for awhile now but only seen the plate bumbers with the tire carrier not any tube one but this is probably gona be the one i gona get :bluejump:

i also have the front arb but in the future im planning on a SAS and it looks like i might have to ditch the arb cuz of the mount location for a tube even though i think the arb looks hella sick on our 3rd gen but it proly match better with both frnt n rear tube and has better clearance so its a plus for me

and how much you pay total shiped?

I don't have the invoice for the front bumper, but I think it was about $500 shipped cross country (with all the possible upgrades). The rear bumper was about $450 shipped, and the swing out was $355 shipped.

Lucky I wanted to Lat move to combat camera but it was closed out so I just EAS'd. Sucks cause I wanted to stay in but only in that.

I am glad you noted that it was due to your install because I know Roy's (Savage Off-Road's owners) rig does not do that with his tire carrier on. It still looks good man but i would try to straighten it out none the less.
