Finally got my Shadow Mica 4th gen!

Drove it back from Texas... so smooth! It was advertised as gray and looked gray in the white room photos but to my surprise!!! :reddance:
BTW Handicap card is my aunts
Now I have to take that ***** stripe off!:ybrick:

Good looking 4Runner man. I saw that when someone posted a link to it in a thread you commented on. You're right - it looked like Galactic Grey in the pics.

How was the drive back to California? Nothing like a 3 day drive to get to know your 4Runner.
 
Looks good man. Maybe it's just the pic, but does that driver's side headlight have moisture inside? If so, you should definitely take care of that. Very good looking 4Runner regardless!

ya it does.... been looking on the forum and it seems like its not that easy to fix.:wow:

Nice, great looking ride!

Sure it's not too hard to fix... I'd recommend baking it as if you were gonna open it to black out, then sealing the edges with silicone after it cools.

I painted a friend's lamps (a_hul) and they ended up getting a little moisture, he brought em back over and we baked them again then sealed the edge with silicone and he says they haven't leaked since.

Nice find considering you found all the right options plus shadow mica.

I have noticed my shadow does get dirty fast (water beads plus dust) on the hood with this new wax I am using and it is also the darkest vehicle color I have ever had so I find I AM WASHING OFTEN.

Man you won the lotto with this one. Enjoy!
 
Nice! Just like mine except I didn't have the factory pinstripe....course I've put a few on myself.

Thanks guys I settled for gray and I was shocked when I saw it. At a Buick dealership of all things. Who in their right mind would trade this in on a Buick???
One thing it was missing was the spoiler. So I ordered one from Jason. Going to put it on Wednesday. :zoom:
