do you have a write-up on how you modified the cluster to have those lights?
I dont have one, but for the UN trucks, the diesel cluster in general has the setup in the picture except the multi mode transfer case lights in the middle. I cut and taped the original rr diff lock icon in the middle of the lower part of the cluster, because originally it stays in the most right, but i have the low fuel icon there. (it is not ON...yet).
The printed circuit in the back of the combination meter, does not allow me to have the original bulb fixtures so i had fabricate separate lights in the slot for the multi mode. (the 4wd and center diff lock lights)(i have removed the white icon and just kept the dark green wheels one because when it is OFF, it doesn't bother the eye).
The fog light is not original either. When I switched my original black panel for the multimode one, the multi mode panel was from an automatic transmission and has the opening for the PRND2L indication(which is made up of two panels, one see thru with the letters, and one dark with a color for each leter).
The original black panel was from the manual transmission and has a wall there, same in the middle where the center diff lock icon is on the multi mode one.
I painted the P indication with a black marker and carved the fog light in there.
The other slots are reserved for my radio TX to inform me that I am transmitting and few more for other stuff.
I switced also the right most original cluster dial, the one with the check engine and cruise contol lights). Before there was only the fuel scale and the original 4wd icon. After that, i retrofitted the cruise control, which is an almost plug and play.
The check engine light is also not present on the UN cars. They don't have a computer to tell if something is wrong because the engine-1KZ-T, is purely mechanical(not to be confused with the 1KZ-TE motor) and doesn't need electricity to run either. It has a few sensors but they all have a light on the dash, like the t belt or turbo.
I left the check engine light to lite up tho, for giggles.
Note: Surprisingly, many systems in these cars do not need to connect to the ECU to work properly...like the multi mode, or cruise control.
Here are a few pictures from awhile. The back side of a multi mode and regular one. How it used to be...
Hope this helps.
