Finally got around to polishing and sealing my 4Runner. Took three days but came out pretty well. Used my PC7424, Griots Garage Polishes, and Menzerma Power lock Sealant. The Menzerna went on super easy and hopefuly it will hold up well. Next up...installing my ARB front bumper!!!

I hate you! jkjk Great looking highlander man! I really wish I had picked one up. Can't wait to see what it looks like with the bumper

Where did you get those wheels and what's the backspacing. Those would be perfect if I decide to bedline the side of my truck.

Nice!

Funny similarity: I have the same truck basically, and next week I'm polishing and sealing it with my PC7424. However I'll be using XMT products from AutoGeek. I'm hoping for the best....I've never done the truck before and it needs it badly.

Oh sweet, I am going to be buying an ARB front bumper for my 4runner pretty soon as I have a 20% coupon I won at a wheeling event. I went onto their website but I couldn't find anything for the 3rd gen 4Runner on their website. Where did you get yours?

I understand the ARB you would need is the one for the Tacoma.
You will need to modify the frame horns to make it fit.

I am in the process of doing just that... but I am using one that was on a rolled 4Runner, so don't know the part #.

looks good. nice choice on the XD wheels. i believe there is only one other 3rd gen besides mine and yours with them and he hasnt been on in a while.

They are the XD Revolvers and I got them at 4 Wheel Parts Warehouse...don't remember the backspacing but IIRC it was the stock backspacing which is 4.5".

Yeah, it's the one for the Tacomas (don't know the part # offhand though) and I am going to do the frame mod. Theres more than a few good write ups on how to do it correctly with the re-enforcement on here if you search.

PC7424 worked flawlessly. I used an orange lake country pad with the Griots #2 machine polish followed by a white pad with #3, and a red pad with the Menzerna Sealant. If I would do one thing differently I might have started with something a little more aggressive than Griots. Its nice though cause the Griots is not so abrasive so you really can't pooch it too bad. I hear good things about the XMT products though so good luck:cheers:
