I have a 1992 4runner and recently discovered some rust (surprise surprise) in the rear wheel wells where the mud flap meets the body. I removed them and am treating the rust but now I want to check the front side of the wheelwell for rust as well. I removed the trim and the runningboard joint but there is a plastic corner peice which is there to pretect the paint and I am not sure how to remove it, I dont want to start yanking on it without knowing if it is screwed in or clipped in or what because as you all know replacing any toyota part is rediculously expensive. Does anyone know how that plastic peice comes off? Thanks. Oh and does anyone know a website where you can order front mud flaps for a 92? I called toyota and they are 95$ each!!!!
