Finished the front 5100s, should it settle?

I installed the front (doing the back tomorrow) 5100s and OME 2884s and it's really high.

It went from 32 3/4 to 37 3/4?

Take a pic of your assembled coilover and post it here. Seems 1 out of 5 people accidentally inverts the lower perch...
 
Lower perches look fine, wheeler's knows what they're doing. I don't have any experience with those springs, no help here on settling. Delete the top plate spacer if it's too tall, add it back in if they settle?

This was on their website and I even called them to confirm when I ordered. I'll call them back tomorrow.

Yes they will settle some plus your stock springs were probably saggy to begin with. Did you also install that top plate spacer that's pictured? How thick is that?

Yes, the 10mm spacers were installed. I checked this morning and the front still sits at 37 3/4
 
well you have a 2wd, the wheelers kit is 1" of lift for a 4WD. id start by taking the spacer out. i know not having the full time system the 4wds have takes a good amount of weight out of the front. and your front springs were probably pretty saggy to start with aswell.
 
I have the same setup w/out the spacer on my '04 V8 4WD

I got about 2.5" with the Bilstiens set at 0

Are your measurements from the ground to fender? Most measure from center of wheel hub to fender to remove tire size from the lift size

Yes, the measurements are from the ground to fender. I measured from the center of the wheel hub and it's 23 1/2.

You got 2.5? I'm kinda pissed, when I called Wheelers the guy confirmed the kit I was buying would give me 1" inch in the front and an 1" on the back. I would also need the spacer in front.
 
What are the rear springs? I'm guessing those gave you 1.5-2" too. remove the spacer up front and it'll probably sit leveled nicely. Lets see some pics to see how high it really went up.
 
The 37.75 number sounds about right. The 32.75 number sounds completely wrong. Consider that your tires are about 31 to 32 inches. Did you really only have an inch of gap before? Seems pretty unlikely to me.

The rear coils are OME 2895Es. I have not done the rears.

Here's a pic of the low rider.

 
You'll need to drive around and put some miles on it before it's really going to settle. It's not going to go down overnight. I've got 5100s and 885s in the front and it came down a good 1/2" after a few trips off road to cycle through it.

Wheel = 29.5 (Ground to wheel center = 14.5, Wheel center to wheel top = 15)
Top of the wheel to fender = 8.25
Wheel center to fender = 23.5
Ground to fender = 37.75

Thanks. I will install the rears, remove the front spacers, get it aligned and take it on some road trips.
