Firestone Lifetime alignment

No no no, I have a much better idea. We should all start taking our lifted rigs over to that location. Maybe 3-4 in one day would be ideal. POWER IN NUMBERS!!!! :whip2:

Lol then every lifted 4runner they see come in they will start doing crappy jobs, and they will be like "Heres your crappy job you stupid 4runner heh heh :heh: "
 
NOT Firestone but one day tire...

yep they get pokey slow once the cats outta the bag... you could go to a different station, not tell em, then pretend to discover in your glove box...

I just upgraded the 4Runner to long travel in the front. I took it to Firestone under the lifetime alignment, and they did a good job. Just fyi.:behindsofa:
 
If you don't mind me asking, what is Firestone charging these days for their lifetime alignment? I'm sure it may vary by location but just looking for a round about.
 
I’ve never had any problems with mine. Think somewhere in the fine print it says something about you not being able to have alignments within 6 months of eachother but this has never been a problem for me. I’m about to cycle in my 3rd suspension set up since having the alignments and I’ve never had a problem. With my aftermarket UCAs, there also able to get everything within spec and always do.

Would you mind letting me know which location your taking your rig too. I need to get mine done this week.
 
I use the Firestone on Huron up north....think it is actually Westminster over there....roughly I-25 and 136th. I have the lifetime alignment on my 2000 Saab and they have always done well with it. Been there 4 times now since you can't do anything on a damn Saab without dropping the subframe and as soon as you do, you need an alignment. Been money very well spent on that car.

For my t4r, I just took it to Toytec - they are doing alignments now and I didn't want to mess around. I just put their kit on it along with an entirely different front end from another t4r and only eye balled the alignment. I want to say it was 100 bucks but don't quote me on that. They know these rigs as well as anyone.
 
Just had mine done today. They got it pretty close. I knew caster was going to be an issue with mine. But they didn't complain about having a lift. I knew the alignment was off before... but damn...

When I had my 2nd gen 4Runner I took it to my local firestone to get the alignment due to lift install and they sold me the lifetime. I used it many times after many mods and they never said anything. I then got my 96 4Runner and brought it to firestone to have the alignment done after 3” toytec lift install and they refused to give me the lifetime alignment. They did do the one time alignment though and got it close. Caster is off a little but not a problem drives fine. So I guess it just depends on who you end up getting at the front desk. I’m going to try for the lifetime again when I need to bring it back eventually
