New to me 4runner, my first. Drove it home from Savannah, Georgia, straight through to Wisconsin, only stopping for gas and restroom breaks - took about 20 hours. Probably won't do anything like that again!
This forum helped me decide which 4runner would work best for me. I like all 5 gens actually, but the 4th gen ended up getting the nod. I'll have to admit though, I initially wasn't too keen on the styling of the 4th gen. Obviously it grew on me.
Thanks to those that responded to my WTB ads. I didn't end up buying their trucks, mainly due to the logistics and/or timing, but it was nice of them to PM me and try to help out.
A few things I like about mine:
Florida truck
SR5 package
Tinted windows
All wheel drive
4.7L
Unique blind spot mirrors
What would have been nice to have (if possible):
Manual trans.
Option to switch out of AWD to 2WD?
Leather seats
What I could have done without:
Silver paint . . . just like everyone else's (I don't hate it, but don't love it either)
Running boards - looks so much better w/o them!
Thanks to everyone that contributes to this forum!
