Hey, everybody im 16 and just got my first 4runner. I got a 2009 sr5 4x4. Im really loving it, but i have decided i need some new tires and maybe a small lift. I will be doing some light offroading, but a lot of snow driving. I was wondering what the best lift kit for 1-3 inches was and what tires to get. I have looked at the daystar 2.5/1.5 and its seems pretty good, but I still havent made up my mind. Also i was looking at the BFG all terrain T/A and the goodyear Duratracs. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Wow... you lucky dog, I wish I had gotten a brand new 4Runner when I turned 16...

Actually... not really, I fell in love with my '82 RX7 (first car at 15) and it really opened me up to my love of mechanics working on it all these years.

Anyways, nostalgia aside, that's a nice ride and welcome to the forum, also 3 of your pictures failed to load.

Hey thanks for responding. well the car is the family's but they are giving it to me. haha i wanted a 92 but my mom said it wasnt safe. I dont know why the photos didnt load.

I just took out my Daystar 2.5/1.5, they are running around $150 new, I'll give you mine for $100 shipped. Welcome to the forum.

why did you take yours out?

I decided it was time to take out the X-REAS and I installed the OME 884's, Toytec Superflex coils and Bilstein 5100's.

It wasn't anything bad about the Daystars. They are actually pretty sweet considering the benefit for the price.
