I'm looking into swapping my 22re out for a Chevy 350. Does anyone know everything that needs to be done and will the Chevy engine bolt up to my original trans?

No, a Chevy 350 V8 will not bolt up to a Toyota 4 cylinder trans, nor will a Ford 302 or a Mopar 383, or a ... etc.
As for
everything that needs to be done
, GOOGLE is your friend.
This swap has been done since the 1980's, so there is plenty of info out there if you look for it.
If you have $2000 or so you can start shopping for the basics needed for the swap at the Advance Adapters web site.

A 350 Chevy will work just fine with an R-150f from the V6--as long as you don't go ballistic with building the engine, this Yota tranny will handle it. Use an Advance Adapters kit with their bellhousing and special Centerforce clutch to mate them up.

I have no plans on upping the performance of the 350 just a stock one is good enough for.what I'll be doing. And if anything I would be happy with a chevy 4.3 V6 I'm sure that's been done too.

The 4.3 is actually a great option, as the front-to-rear distance is a problem with the V8. With the 4.3, you get tons of aftermarket support for the engine, and you lose the length of one cylinder, adding precious room in the engine compartment. All the adapters are basically the same, since the 4.3 is just a 350 minus two cylinders.
